Dubois Youth Activities, Inc. will again be hosting Community Suppers as part of their Job Skills program- Culinary & Hospitality course. The Job Skills program is designed to give students the work ethic, communication skills, and hands-on experience necessary to be successful in the 21st century workforce.
The Community Suppers, which are free of charge, are the working classroom for the culinary/hospitality students. This sevice learning experience provides them with the educational and occupational skills that are unique from what is learned within classroom walls.

Sunday April 22, 2012- Help us celebrate Global Youth Service Day! During this supper, DYA is hosting a food drive for the Dubois Community Food Bank. Please bring a food item to donate!

The DYA Young Entrepreneurs will be selling their wares at the Women's Expo in Dubois and also at the Dubois High Country Senior Center Christmas Bazaar on Saturday. 
Students in the Young Entrepreneurs Program gain a basic understanding of micro economics through student operated business ventures in order to prepare them for the 21st century workforce. Students learn to buy supplies, create product, market their wares, and determine profits. 
Items include handmade western and seasonal jewelry, as well as holdiay hot cocoa snowmen-- hope to see you there!
DYA HALLOWEEN PARTY is Friday October 28th 7-9 pm.
Haunted House is 9-10 pm for Middle School students, 10-11 pm for High School students~ COME IF YOU DARE

DYA is pleased to welcome two new TRAP employees, Jerid McCabe and Megan Molthen! We are so glad to have you on board!
TRAP is going full-swing now that school is back in session. Through October, the DYA van is picking students up at school at the end of the day for TRAP. The school bus picks students up at 5:15 at the new building (304 Hays St.) and takes them home via the normal route.

Summer TRAP Begins Tuesday June 14th!
The summer schedule for TRAP is from Noon to 5 pm Tuesday through Friday. We will NOT be open on Mondays. Ben Gale will be back with us this summer, which means on Fridays we will be getting ready for the rodeo. Wednesdays will be our swimming day, and we will be going to the KOA from 3-5 pm, so bring your swimming suit and a towel. Other upcoming activities include:

June 22nd- Maze and swimming in Jackson

July 6th- Swimming in Lander

July 11th and 12th- Fire Camp

July 27th- Swimming in Riverton

August 10th- Climbing gym in Jackson

Fremont County Youth Empowerment Summit

Where: Headwaters Community Center in Dubois, WY
Who: Middle and High School youth from Fremont, Natrona, Niobrara, Converse, and Sweetwater Prevention Framework communities will be attending
What: Take it Back and keynote speeker Leon Quan a cultural analyst and humorist.

Community Service Learning Program

The Community Service Learning Program or CSLP is designed to expose youth to the needs of the community by offering them real world education and providing them with the opportunity to understand and benifit the under-served population in the community.
DYA Community Suppers are scheduled for Sunday's from 5-7pm through May.
